Delivery from FWS: What To Expect

Here at Furniture Warehouse, we do not offer any in-house delivery services, but are contracted through a professional delivery service located in Asheville, NC. When choosing a delivery service, we had our customers in mind! We wanted to make sure the service we chose was not only professional, but thorough, detail oriented and feasible. Thankfully, our delivery service is all of those things and more!

How far do you deliver?

Our delivery service will deliver anywhere within 1000 miles.

What days are delivery offered?

The service operates every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Do I have to call the service to set up delivery?

Nope, we make it easy peasy! Delivery will be set up through us during your buying process. We handle getting you all set up while you’re here in the store.

Can I set up a specific time frame for delivery?

Delivery times can be suggested, but never guaranteed. Deliveries will be set in the order that makes the most sense for our drivers and their specific route that day.

How will I know what time my delivery is coming?

The delivery service will give you a call the morning of the day of your delivery and give you a 2-3 hour time window. They will also give you a “heads up” call roughly 30 minutes prior to their arrival. No surprises here!

What happens if my item is delivered damaged?

The delivery service along with our warehouse crew inspects every piece of furniture prior to loading it on the truck. This inspection insures that your furniture is damage free before leaving our warehouse. If your item is damaged during transit, the delivery service works alongside us to make sure you’re taken care of every single time. No questions asked!

Will the delivery service haul off my old furniture?

The delivery services is not authorized to haul off any old or existing furniture. We recommend using Habitat For Humanity as they will remove your old furniture free of charge.

Can the delivery service move my existing furniture around to make room for my new furniture?

The delivery service will not move around any existing furniture under any circumstances. This is strictly for liability reasons. We ask the room be clear before delivery to insure a smooth delivery process.

Does the delivery service put together my new furniture if its not already assembled?

Yes, you won’t have to lift a finger! Anything that needs assembled will be assembled for you and placed in the location you desire.

Does the delivery service charge a fee for delivery?

The delivery service has set fees that we must implement in order for your furniture to get delivered. These fees are dependent on mileage and how many pieces they are delivering.
